About Me

I am currently a grad student in the Historical Archaeology department at UWF, and enrolled in my second GIS class, Computer Cartography. I plan to graduate by 2025, but there is a possibility it will take longer.  I am from south Texas but I have moved almost every two years throughout my life. I now live in Pensacola and I don’t think I will be moving for a while now. My Story Map shows more about my movements over the years. I’m looking forward to learning more about GIS in this class.

Final

The final definitely took a huge amount of time to complete. I had to use all of the skills that I had learned throughout the class to analyze all the different types of property, environmental landscapes, and schools that could possibly be impacted by a transmission line project within Manatee and Sarasota County, Florida. I really enjoyed my first GIS class. I am looking forward to continuing to learn about the subject and improving my skills in the future.  The links below will take you to my ArcGIS Story Map or the transcript of the Story Map.  ArcGIS Story Map Transcript
